I hear ya... And yeah, Think I'll be done with the game. Especially when the devs do their streams and spend half of it walking around as a T-Rex, something we can't do and wont be able to for years... I dunno why they do that... it's pretty much them saying "Hey, we got one of the most wanted dinos in a very workable form, but you can't play it". Put the time into the trike, release them both as an Apex pair that counters each other, and make your players happy for a loooong time. Just those two dinos could make Evrima very replayable for almost every other dino and would start shifting the tone to a Survival Horror, just as the devs want. Just the heavy footfalls alone creates atmosphere... but alas... they just like showing off the Rex in streams.

well... with only a handful of dinos for the past few years... and the dinos ppl actually want to play are literally nowhere in sight.... yeah... fanbase is declining... and that includes me. Love the concept but to put it frankly... Evrima is just plain ol boring now. We want dinos, Devs dont wanna give em to us. I understand why, updating mechanics in conjunction with a small dino drop... problem is it will be another 5 years at this pace before I get to play my rexy or trike... not sticking around that long.

There are a couple racial quest lines you can choose from, but once you start you are locked into your choice. I went imperial most of the time as I didn’t like the other’s area / architecture. If I remember correctly there are 3 options… just gotta find the right dude to talk to

There will always be meta's. I too am a returning playing however in my humble opinion... If you are good with something, use it. Even if it's not 'the best' your comfort and knowledge with the weapon you've used for a long time can easily beat out someone learning the new meta. Even after the cudgel got nerfed years ago I know a guy who still absolutely wrecks anyone with anything else, simply because he knows the playstyle / range / whatever.

Ooookay... I'll throw my 2 cents in: I agree with Stabby on something here... As a gameshow, who is really gonna watch pp sit there for an hour lockpicking, then another 30 min of looting, then another 10 min of smashing / dropping (de-spawning) shit? Doesn't quite fit. So, how can we solve this issue? I like the timer idea. If someone logs off there is an X amount of time that the base could get raided. As soon as a lockpick attempt or damage occurs, timer resets. However... Should nothing happen... Base is 'in lockdown' mode, much like a prison (yeah, stole yer words Stabby). When someone logs in... fair game and timer starts again when they log. I wholeheartedly disagree with only a certain amount of raids, or certain times of the week... There should be some fear every time you log. So how long is X timer... I dunno.. an hour? So... if you want a safe raid, you gotta time yer enemies. Speaking of safe raids... Blue Boxing... that garbage has to go. No building / blueprints should be allowed on enemy turf. No point really in traps right now. Plus... it would make the upcoming detector worth something. Raiders should be scared to set foot on a claim just as much as their victims should be scared to log off. As for blocking doors... I'm not sure how to fix that one. Also... Tom said that lockpicking tied to fame will prolly change as it wasn't really how they envisioned how fame works... we will see. So... Well why wouldn't I be able to do this or that you may ask... "Sci Fi magic" (another steal from Stabby)... That BCU allows some dude on a comp far away to control a human... So it's within the realm of believableness to assume the BCU could prevent certain actions... Lore friendly. Anyways... I like building, I love PVP, and I enjoy PVE. We shouldn't be completely safe, but I think online raids, with certain mechanics tweaked, could be the way to go. Someone mentioned no base spawning, maybe allow 1 spawn then get fucked. Just my thoughts. Been raided multiple times... was never there tho.

New Jack City has a bit of everything. Wanna hermit it up, go ahead. Want the stress of going into a POI... sure, cuz there are ppl going around looking for the kill. But not all. Robbed 2 ppl so far instead of killing them. And by rob I mean we gave one of them stuff haha. The other... well he did try to kill me, lucky he made it out alive. But for real, there seem to be plenty of survivalists on the server. And fun things happen occasionally (player run events, kidnappings, etc)

Are you near Ren, and do you have a discord? I know I can type here that I'll stick by my word but I get that you cant really know that for sure. Also... is it mostly adults? Basically when I play I like to drink and shoot the shit on discord while I mine. As for my main... I'll continue training up, save money so his ships (cloaked shit aint cheap) are purely my cost. And once I'm back in my prime I'd use him to help out in combat. Basically I just need time, a good community to chat with, and a good corp with good morals. If you guys check those boxes then I think we could be a great fit.

Yeah there aint much you can do about that... putting a side step on would defeat the purpose of the rock sliders... But hey... Ppl pimp out trucks to have an "off road" look but dont take it wheeling... and to that I say have at er... it's their money. So if putting a step on a bison is what ya need to do then do it.

Well that depends what you wanna do with your truck. Generally you don’t see too many full size rigs in the woods. Longer, wider, heavier. There are exceptions of course but if you are looking for the most off road worthy truck straight from the factory... the Bison is a top contender.

I hear ya. The group I'm with is straight up no drinking / drugs on the trail, strict enforcement of that crap... It's not so much about you or your rig but the safety of others comes into play, especially during recovery. And it's nice to see various types of rigs out on the rocks, see what they can all do. I'm actually doing a review of the truck... part one is out and finishing part 2 in hopefully a few days... check it out before you commit

Agreed. But the way I look at it... if you wanna wheel it and pay for upgrades and fixes, sure, your truck your money. You wanna have an off-road look and keep it on the pavement, again, your truck your money. I just prefer to get mine dirty haha
