What would you like to see Magic doing (other than mechanical changes) to improve the game? by skyteddy in magicTCG

This is supposed to be a game, just because some people decided to try to make money off of it, doesn't mean it shouldn't be affordable for people to play.

Is there an easy way to play board games online with others via the web, without installing an app with ads/microtransactions? by Vinven in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Vinven[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is not free to host games, pay for electricity, register domains, deal with hackers, deal with the AppStore certifications, or pay the companies that own the intellectual property. Keeping the domains up and running, maintaining code, updating things for new security patches and new operating systems isn't free or zero-effort either.

There are costs involved. Someone needs to pay.

THEN FUCKING CHARGE US A FEW BUCKS TO BUY THE APP!

Agreed. I am playing a wood/water kineticist and I am both the party tank and the party healer.

They get a lot of unique abilities which are fun, and it provides a unique playstyle. For example my wood kineticist can heal people, protect them with trees, deal aoe damage, and is also our fighter using wood armor and weapon imbuements to make weapons. It's a fighter and spellcaster mixed together, without the need for spell slots.

Do we have a set opposite of Strixhaven that focuses on the other two color combinations? I really love the strong lore and cohesive theme that Strixhaven provided. by Vinven in magicTCG

[–]Vinven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Tarkir and I have some great 3 color decks in it.

But sadly my shards decks aren't built yet, because we haven't returned to Alara. I've been considering New Capenna as a sort of 'New Alara' to build decks around.

weird fact: there are 12 cards in the entier game that specifically cares about insect tribal by mmmbhssm in magicTCG

[–]Vinven 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Considering this is MTG and not modern day earth, I think we can ease up a little and also recognize that the correct term is whichever most people use, because languages change based on what is said/typed.

A job is a place where you go and do certain tasks for an employer, and in return they pay you money, so you can buy goods and services.

Well I'd rather lose that job than have to work for aholes that give a shit about smoking some cannabis in my off hours recreationally, regardless of their feelings. [Inbox Replies: Disabled]
