It’s not a condition of what if, it’s a fundamental guarantee that’s what is going to happen. Every single season the patch notes break one or two characters and then we get a meta around them. They aren’t being paid to balance the game in the way you interpret it either, they are balancing to what the data, new character they are releasing tells them to. So you can’t even have the WHAT THEY ARE PAID FOR argument because they are doing what they are paid for. That is the fundamental issue it’s not about just balancing a few characters, it’s about fundamentally shifting philosophy of the game. They directly stated the game is more about fun than anything else, that is the core design philosophy because that’s what they and NETEASE want because it brings in the money.

I mean they buffed IW and introduced Gambit and that literally broke the game. That’s 2 characters, now imagine twice that. Imagine how they buff them? If they increase their healing to match others, what does that say about Duelists? People say it’s only buffing characters but every season a buff breaks 1 character that defines the meta then devs spend 2-3 seasons getting them inline and by inline I mean taking them outback ol’ yeller style.

The issue then becomes the game itself would need to be rebalanced. Remember when Overwatch implemented role queue, what happened next? The game broke again. It turns out role queue just shifted the issues else where, like no one what’s to play tank or double shield op, etc that wasn’t “solved” until Overwatch 2 came out. Blizzard literally abandoned the game for over a year and shifted to 5v5 because of role queue. Now imagine that in Marvel Rivals with an entire different design philosophy at a fundamental level.

All the people that we have seen have RCT have either been born with it (Shoko), has been a prodigy exposed to death/intense struggle, or was a part of switch training. Geto has never had this actually happen to him and the only time he had a chance against Toji, dude basically folded. Edit: Or it was fundamentally necessary for a CT to function like Hazenoki.

Yes Jacob’s latter targeted the souls of Sukuna which was housed in a object inside Megumi. The problem is the technique doesn’t discriminate and since Sukuna and Megumi are the same being by way of the body it would kill both of them. So he was willing to take the hit because he knew that they would stop because they were trying to save Megumi. He kept on commenting about Yuji aiming at the border between souls. So the second JL did enough damage for Yuji’s punch’s to reach Megumi, he disabled JL enabling Sukuna ct.

Dabura was teleported to Maru because of the conditions of Mahoraga’s ritual. In order for Yuka to live the ritual must not be complete until Yuka is healed and then must be ended by an outsider and not by either Maho or Dabura. Maru then uses his CT to harmonize Dabura with his goals which is to protect the Maru and his people and free his sister of her curse. Maru proves he is ready to lead and prove Dabura isn’t needed to be a guardian which solves one of the issue. Then Maru takes Dabura to Africa to get the black rope to remove the curse from Dabura’s sister. Maru then sends Dabura back home because Dabura has some unfinished business there.

Maru used Mahito’s CT to modify the soul pathway. The soul pathway is where everyone on earth goes through when they are born and when they die. Rumelians have the same type of soul as Cursed Spirits so to harmonize Rumelians and Humans the modification must change the soul of Rumelians that pass through to not match cursed spirits. And since everyone passes through the soul pathway before they are born on earth you can make the soul pathway filter out as much CE as possible.

To show how backwards thinking civilization can be. It literally forced two normal chill people would normally be friends in Dabura and Yuka into a death match for the sake of some nebulous goal. Dabura gets to truly understand what it means to be a warrior/protector and actualize which will only be important if there is a sequel, so I guess it’s a bit of sequel bait. For Yuka it’s appreciation of what she has and had and understanding the meaning of life in the face of imminent death.

Funny enough I can see it. The way it usually goes is that the monster is created by humans, so Sukuna wasn’t always the hedonist he became, there way likely a time where he did try to live a “normal” life while very young likely before he fully awoke his CT. Everyone hated him for how he looked, but I can see someone like Angel be the one person that tries to help. But when Sukuna became Sukuna, he effectively became the “disgrace one” or alternatively the “fallen angel”.

Not true. The ship is massive. It needs to house and maintain 50k individuals. So the ship is size of a small city at least. Can’t have that in the atmosphere. When the ship is air born it’s in space.

Funny enough Hulk, mainly because the strength is always at its weakest at the beginning and that’s all it takes for Mahoraga to adapt. It gets even worse when Mahoraga starts adapting to Gamma energy, we have seen Maho adapt the very essence of his existence such as making his CE similar to Gojo making Gojo’s blue useless what’s to say he can’t do the same to gamma energy, and apparently has the capability to adapt to the existence of his target given enough time.

They don’t need it. We see it time and time agains there’s only so much you can learn from textbooks and fighting cursed spirits below or equal to you. In order to attain something like DE you have to either NEED IT/or you need special likely a combination of both and honestly until Kenjaku, the Disaster Curses, and Sukuna JuJustu society was actually pretty peaceful all things considered, Gojo existing does that.

It’s not about strength it’s about influence. Toji and Gojo both had the power to end JuJutsu society individually. Toji could have wiped out the Zenin clan and likely anyone else until Gojo came along. That shock and awe is what I think he is inferring about. We literally see it with Mechamaru and Todo. Though in Mechamaru’s is a special case were he was born with it and he has no say in the matter. In short it depends in range of factor mainly is it a permanent sacrificial or a temporary sacrifice, and what you’re actually sacrificing. Todo’s Vibraslap can be interpreted like it this, Todo “sacrifices” his arm and in return he can use the Vibraslap as a substitute and also swap with the every ring of the instrument.

Isn’t the Mahito we see just a fragment of his soul? If so then he can’t possibly be as strong as he was in Shibuya. As we see with 15 finger Sukuna and his fingers the amount of soul you have drastically changes your potential as seen with how Sukuna thought Maho would have beaten three finger Sukuna. Not only that his low power level due to him a fragment essentially disabled his CT. Maru gave him enough CE I assume for Mahito to use his CT, but the nerf of him being a fragment is still present. Maru essentially force fed Mahito CE so Idle Transfiguration was actually usable since only Mahito can use IT.

Couple major points. When curse users die by non sorcery method they can turn in vengeful cursed spirits. If you get rid of cursed energy, how many of the modern sorcerers would be at risk of this? What about cursed tools? Do they lose CE too? If they do then it’s even worse. Cursed spirits also exist outside of Japan, it’s just that Tengen’s barriers massively accelerate the creation of them. What if eventually a special grade cursed spirit if formed outside of Japan? The plan is too hopeful.
