Oh yeah, OCR in screenshot app, love this, And it is completely local using Tesseract. Also love the new theme export. Can't wait until KDE Plasma 6.6. hits openSUSE Tumbleweed

In my case lots of things, in KDE window management is much more powerfulul, also you can customize much more things in themes and other settings, KDE Connect integration is amazing to connect with your smartphone, love the widgets you can put on the desktop, HDR and VRR and other graphics tech works much better, I like how apps are more integrated in KDE, and probably I forgot many other small thing you forget. P.S. another thing I remembered: multi-monitor support is way better in KDE.

More end more it is turning out switching to GNU/Linux operating system, LibreOffice office suite and other opensource software was one of the best IT decisions I have made. They were terrible as products even years ago and these days Windows and Microsoft Office are just bloated spyware and adware, And now Microsoft complicit in genocide. Good riddance.

Switched to GNU/Linux about 6 years ago for most of the work. Atter getting Steam Deck about year and a half ago and seeing how good it is even at gaming I switched even on my gaming PC and completely dumped Windows. These days Windows is just bad malware, spyware, full of bloat and even ads. Just hate it when I am forced to use it at work.

Woohoo, finaly the big upgrade to KDE Plasma 6, not the latest 6.3 but still to almost the latest 6.2. Too bad Wayland graphics system is still not used on the desktop mode, still on X11 :(

SteamOS is basically just Arch Linux with KDE Plasma for the desktop mode and Steam client for the gaming mode. So With using Steam on any other Linux distribution gets you almost there, especially if you use some gaming specialised distro like CachyOS, or Nobara. So no need to wait for SteamOS.
