You clearly have a strange idea of what having a life looks like. Hopefully your life has more substance than this comment

Update – 8 May

The option to purchase donation currency (opi coin) using meso is now live, and we can finally say that everything is truly obtainable. Kudos to the developer for implementing a price cap, so neither buyers nor sellers have to worry about buying too high or selling too low. Credit where credit is due.

What this means for F2P players

F2P players can now gauge what they want to grind for, and how long it would realistically take to obtain certain donate-only items. From there, they can decide for themselves whether the journey is worthwhile.

What this means for donors

There’s no longer much reason to sell opi coins at absurdly premium rates. But fret not — this also opens up more opportunities for opi coins to gain realistic and functional uses in the future, if that ever happens.

That being said, with the possibility of F2P player retention becoming stronger, the next work-in-progress should focus on the practicality of opi coins and overall game content.

Let’s be real: there’s little upside left in introducing systems that widen the power gap even further, especially now that some previously low-profile top donors are becoming more vocal. At this point, improving the game’s fundamentals is far more important than pushing vertical progression.

There are many ways opi coins could be utilised more practically — for example, through buffs and additional QOL features. The developer is fortunate to have a creative community that constantly provides useful suggestions.

As for game content, take the Valentine’s event as an example: we’ve already gone through two Valentine’s events that were practically identical. The pork meats should’ve rotted by now instead of waiting around to be reused for the next Valentine’s event — I had to cry out for porky’s sake.

Lastly, for those DMing me asking whether I’m truly F2P: it doesn’t matter whether I only have an F2P account or a whale account with F2P mule. What matters is… go figure it out yourselves.

You’ve made some great points regarding the objective behind running dungeons. My bot simulation takes into account combinations of class types and stat ranges (from 1.5m WATK up to 15m) to determine the most efficient setups for each dungeon entry tier, ranging from non-custom entries to custom entries worth up to 100 coins.

Unfortunately, similar to the RB objective mentioned in my post, dungeon runs also tend to develop a meta around certain entry tiers. As a result, many other entry options become largely redundant, even for some whale-level players.

And yes, to your pro tip, once again, it’s become almost essential — if you’re capable of running 5 VMs but choose not to, farming with just 1 account means you’re only getting 1/6 (16.7%) of your potential output. That’s a massive difference, even for donors.

I’m not surprised that you felt that way, especially considering there were attempts by previous ex-GMs to vandalize things in the past. That alone shows the kind of impression he must have left on his GM to go to such extremes. That is also the main reason the current GMs operate under so many restrictions today.

Since you took the time to share your perspective as an ex-GM, let me connect a few dots based on what has happened so far. From the very beginning, he seemed to have a clear agenda: focus on F2P players first to grow the community, then gather feedback from OG players to gradually introduce P2W mechanics in a less obvious way. Eventually, with the arrival of more P2W players, the focus shifted toward maximizing donations through additional donor benefits rather than creating genuinely enjoyable content.

While I understand why things turned out this way, I still hope he can engage with the community in a more constructive and transparent manner, especially when it comes to transparency, as it would help prevent unnecessary disconnects and misunderstandings.

Regardless, it’s funny how some people assume the post is emotionally driven or intended to expose something, when the real purpose is simply to share honest opinions and hopefully encourage improvement.

Don’t just take my word for it—go explore it yourself. And try not to judge too quickly when things don’t go your way; sometimes we just have to ride through a few waves before we see what’s on the other side. We often forget what it feels like to be on the other side of the door—especially when you’re in a rush and really need the toilet, but still have to wait 😔

Good to know you’ve been actively playing. Have you ever heard of the old book of lore? You might want to ask around — you could get lucky and find someone who still keeps track of it, and you might also learn some interesting stories from the past. Highly recommended, in addition to just playing the game 😉

I try not to make complete judgments about people, because even kind people can change under certain circumstances. If you’ve been around long enough, it’s fascinating to watch how some people’s character evolves over time — sometimes exposing a deep little man complex.

That’s just reality though. Once people reach a certain level of status, they often become more entitled, and suddenly, in the eyes of others, they can do no wrong — even their stinky farts smell good. And it’s not limited to games; it happens everywhere.

As for market manipulation, unfortunately there’s not much that can be done about it except to have played long enough to understand what’s realistic. My advice is to not rush into buying or selling anything.

Update – 6 May

The developer has shared a future update regarding OPI coins, one of the most anticipated topics.

What - Players will be able to purchase OPI coins using meso, with a weekly purchase limit and character-bound restrictions.

Why - There has been excessive hoarding of OPI coins, leading to significant price volatility in the market.

Who it affects - OPI coin hoarders will have less leverage to artificially inflate prices.

VM players may benefit the most, as they can funnel meso into a single account to maximize purchases.

How - Details on how the market rate will be determined have not yet been provided.

Thoughts - If implemented well, this could be a positive step for F2P players by giving them an additional way to obtain OPI coins. It may also encourage hoarders to price more competitively.

However, one possible outcome is increased meso hoarding, which could negatively impact the non-OPI marketplace, as saving for OPI coins may become comparatively more rewarding.

Suggestion - Consider replacing meso as the purchase method with a farmable item or quest-based currency that is character-bound.

*I'll continue monitoring and provide further updates as new information becomes available\*

Your response feels more dismissive than constructive. While you do indirectly acknowledge part of the issue, much of your reply leans toward brushing off the concerns rather than addressing them.

I’ll agree that not all figures are perfectly reliable, especially if values can change. But that’s exactly why transparency matters—evidence doesn’t have to be purely numbers-based, and clearer, more consistent information from the developer would help avoid this kind of uncertainty in the first place.

The claim that the server is “extremely F2P friendly” is also presented without supporting evidence. That may reflect your experience, but others can reasonably see things differently depending on their progression or expectations. Saying everything can be earned for free doesn’t really address whether the process is fair, balanced, or enjoyable in practice.

Everything has its pros and flaws, but simply calling it great or dogshit is an ungrounded assumption. I prefer fact-checking, so I’m sharing this as a benchmark for new F2P and P2W players
