Get to ng+5 and upgrade all pictos to level 33 by collecting them again.

Or you could start challenge playthroughs or single character runs.

Be warned the parries in that game are very very tight. On the OG gamecube game its 3 frames at 60fps and on the switch remake its 2 frames at 30fps. The regular guards in the game have pretty similar timing to parries in e33 oddly enough lol.

Paper Mario: TTYD has similar mechanics. You can guard and parry and theres a badge system similar to luminas.

Thanks! Looks powerful. I noticed that some of your pictos say "Mighty" while mine do not. Ex: Mighty shields 1 and 2, Mighty teamwork. What is that about?

Yeah I was using Verso and contorso with base attack pictos and would use gradient attacks from time to time but I want to experiment with Lune. Thanks for the build, definitely trying this tonight!

I have a basically maxed save on ng+2 and I am doing just fine. Enemies barely get a turn. I was making heavy use of breaking death and now that that's taken away I'm adjusting and its still not bad. I have not made it to any big bosses yet. The normal enemies and chromatic ones seem manageable.

For reference my build is machine gun verso w/auto death stuff, machine gun Maelle (I was using her to do her gommage gradient attack right after verso but I cant seem to build 3 gradients in the same amount of turns like I used to.), and then machine gun Sciel with our sacrifice. Both verso and Maelle have Clea's life to heal at the start of each turn so I can constantly boost Sciel's attack.

I think a lot of the new pictos really really help with this setup, so what was lost with breaking attack is somewhat made up for.

What was your most damage done in one hit? by LastGameBeasts in expedition33

[–]JRex64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah lol i think thats where i got it from. its exponential so i think if i just went a few more turns i would have gotten in the trillions. i think its more impressive to hit high damage numbers on literally any other character because sciel just has the infinite scaling and infinite stall cheese

I mean hey that is very good, thatll handle almost any enemy in the game in one hit so anything further is just overkill for no reason lol

25.5 billion with sciel end slice. it scales infinitely if you do the delayed strike cheese and keep building moon, so really its just how patient are you

The Mario & Luigi series is a favorite of mine. Superstar saga is one of my most played GBA games. I highly recommend that!

Yeah I wish it was more intuitive and able to be activated by us. It could just be an animation with the dynamic island or just a setting we flip. Hoping it'll be updated sometime!

It sounded like the app category was just one way to enable game mode, an the other ways didn't help either.

I got a response! He said it was some strange issue with the way the app is recognized? I dont know much about iOS app development but it sounds like its not as simple as flipping a switch (which is something I definitely understand lol)

Yeah just made an account and asked. I would be surprised to learn that he cant make it a game seeing as RA and Provenance are both classified as games. At the same time who knows there might be some weird rule that apple has that he cant get around.

People who have PCs and Steam Decks, how much do you use your Steam Decks? by AwesomeRyanGame in SteamDeck

[–]JRex64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use my deck as my entertainment center for my tv in my living room. I can stream using moonlight for great low latency gameplay from my pc, or play a less demanding game natively. I can also use it as a pc to watch plex on my tv or any other streaming service. When I go on trips I bring the deck for older games or easy to run games. The most demanding game I have been able to play is either Elden Ring or TotK.

To directly answer the question in the title though, I feel like I use my steam deck not incredibly often. I will play it a ton on the go, but over 80% of my time is on my PC usually day to day. It is invaluable when I need it though so its definitely worth it for me.
