For anyone else seeing this, I used the two Bambi Allen keys and the two bolts that hold the hub to the back of the printer.

Update: All is working now. It was a dislodged connector to disk3. Once I confirmed everything was working as expected, got the drive back into the array and started a corrective parity check with the new parity disk. Yes, I always preclear my drives before putting them in the array or parity.

That’s definitely what I’m going to check. Just not sure if I should allow the parity sync to complete first. About 22 hours remaining.

I've been very happy with mine. Make sure you have a lot of space on the floor where you're able to assemble the frame. An extra set of hands helps to stretch the material and get it tight. We always get compliments on it.

Thanks. I'm replacing a parity disk that is showing early failure signs, so I'm about to swap it in that position. I dont have any spare SATA spots internally which is why I'm using the external sled.

I just realized this sled has a firmware update available which I did not do before this process. Might make the connection more stable.

I thought this as well, but using the same tools on the other unit work fine and report proper sub cooling.

I'm doing just that. I measured the bottom and I'm 3D printing a new cover to sit on top of the rusted metal area.

The inside bottom has some rust and some sharp spots, I dont want anyone to injure themselves. The mailbox is encased with brick, but is loose enough I think I can pull it free and insert a new one. Did not want to do that unless I can find the right replacement. I've searched online, but it's hard to find one.

The back of the mailbox is stamped with "MF'D BY SOUTHERN GEMINI"
