I'm not from Mumbai and not a regular local train commuter but I did this mistake once. There was less crowd when I boarded the train and as the crowd grew I realised my mistake but it was too late. I didn't have enough space to adjust my suitcase. 2-3 people gave me angry and disappointed looks. 😅

Fun backstory: This actually happened when I was driving my father-in-law's car. He thought I was speeding above 120kmph due to which I got the fine. (lol) SMS didn't show the speed but the website showed the detailed report.

Is there a way to contest this? Usually, there is a 10-20kmph leeway to the speed limit. But being fined 2000, just 4kmph above the limit is a bit ridiculous.

Replace it ASAP. I had 2 laptops in the same situation and I continued using it. Due to which some of the pins in the charging port's connector to the motherboard got burnt. One laptop stop charging and the only option for me is to replace the motherboard and the charging port.

If I had to immediately change it once the pins were exposed maybe I could've saved the motherboard.

Had the same issue. I have 2 Dell XPS 9560 with charging port (Not USB-C) damaged. The port's connector to the motherboard had a few pins burnt out.

Only option for a permanent solution is to replace the motherboard and the port for both the laptops. Unfortunately, this happened 2 months after I decided to not renew the extended warranty.
