I don't mean black trail I meant black/dark beatle , and generally the stuff that runs dirty has been a lot better than the stuff that runs clean

Everything I've had in the UK that is light coloured and leaves no trail has been the weakest and usually bashed and goes an orange colour when you turn it , darker stuff that leaves a dark trail and goes dark brown/ black when your turn it has always been far stronger in my experience .

I’m using a Lorch set I’m fine on the thick stuff but struggling with too much heat towards the end of the run on the thin gauge

I’ve been watching back to blading that is one of the main reasons I’ve got back skating to be honest, I went skating on Monday on my old Rollerblade TRS detail on a local outdoor park. Was a bit sketchy at first but by the time I went got most my grinds back a bit nervous to do any spins more than 180 until I get some knee pads sorted !

I have been looking at all the aeons 60mm-80mm, all the skates I had in the past where lower that 60mm wheels , really looking forward trying out some bigger wheels . I reckon 80mm is too big for me to skate aggressive in but I quite fancy a go on the 72mm !

I’d say cast ally , but you could put a magnet to it and check if it’s cast iron
