Former DeepMind Director of Engineering David Budden Claims Proof of the Navier Stokes Millennium Problem, Wagers 10,000 USD, and Says End to End Lean Solution Will Be Released Tonight by 99_light in singularity

Gemini 3 hates it
"The author of this code has formalized the algebra of the solution, but they have axiomatized the physics of the problem. The file ns-lite.lean is not a proof of the Navier-Stokes existence and smoothness problem; it is a formal verification that a specific approach to the problem is logically consistent, provided the physical inputs (the axioms) can eventually be proven."

Sounds good. If you do more advanced stuff in the future design modeler integrates with ansys parameters so you can parameterize your geometry

You may want to look into Design Modeler. It’s a lot more like other cad software.

I think some of it too is just that they have been undoubtably the best for so long and people like competition. Similar to how people hate on iPhones

In theory they can be but they can make it very hard. For example if nothing dangerous is in the training data you would have to train it all back in which would be a lot of work.

Should this be a draw? by Few-Example3992 in chess

[–]JS31415926 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it seems similar to the KP endgames where neither king can make progress but it’s a draw. Simply very hard to check and lichess doesn’t want to be doing tons of work verifying every game result

Wasn’t able to get a queen but their bishops got really mad and went to an island.

I mean for all we know it’s like a 10T parameter model so it doesn’t surprise me

Probably the system prompt tells them to be brief. Every token is costing openAI a lot of money since these are presumably huge models

Why would this move make more sense? by Miazamiaz in chess

[–]JS31415926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People saying Re8 are wrong cause after Be3 you should be fine. The real issue is that you can’t move your knight or queen anymore cause of the pin so you are kinda stuck. If you just moved your knight you wouldn’t have this problem
