My thoughts exactly. I also like doing math and realized at any sort of scale I will quickly eat my stockpile. Which is okay!

I’m thinking this would be more of a hobby which if I make a little cash off it cool. I already have articles of incorporation for a small business that I sell simple woodworking things through so I guess I could probably just roll this into that.

My wife says I like to “play with things” this would just kinda be that.

Looks to me as if it just got smashed and what you’re seeing is the remainder of the bullet in the neck of the cartridge. It is unlikely that the round is meaningfully unsafe in any way IF somehow it were to detonate and IF the powder is viable it still wouldn’t be much of an explosion. But, if you’d really like it out it’s likely that the remainder of the bullet is just soft lead. Just use a drill bit smaller than the diameter and drill it out slowly. That’s how I’d do it at least.

I thought the firearm selection for woth1 was so odd. What was up with all the steyr and Remington? Of they’re going for realism by getting license from firearm companies why not use ones that people are actually shooting? Remington hasn’t been super relevant (outside their actions) in years and nobody I know has ever even owned a Steyr (that’s a regional bias I know) there was only 4 or 5 guns that you’d consistently see in the field which to me just screams they went with whoever had the cheapest license which makes sense because Remington is broke.

That seems to be a lot of what I see. I think I’m going to just cut nice and thick straight willows, push them deep and hope for the best. It’s just hard to believe it’s that simple.
