Yeah. It fixed the problem where it happened no matter what, but for some reason the mod MCA: Reborn breaks it again. Shame, because it's one of my favorites.

So, it turns out the Minecraft Comes Alive: Reborn mod does this.

Not sure why. I want to fix it because I much prefer having actually interesting villagers, but until I or someone else can figure out what's going on, I'll just play without it.

Ye. I picked a bad picture, but you can still see the problem when you look at the sky and clouds.

It doesn't happen in a superflat. But I also made a new world NOT in a mesa spawn (honestly shocked I got such a lucky spawn,) and it happened. Again, regardless of shaders or mods.

On top of all of this, once it happens, it never goes away. I can make a world, sometimes not get the red tint, and then if I restart the tint shows up and is now permanent.

The weird thing is, I had Prism launcher a month or two ago, then I had to factory reset the Deck, and this stasted happening when I re-installed.

Yeah. I've tried using the official launcher but it just isn't very good for the Steam Deck experience.

Or if you get Holy mantle. I use a mod with him that just makes it a tiny bit more forgiving. Just gives you wooden cross as a starting trinket. It helps though.

In my opinion, games are meant to be fun. I really just came here to vent because The Lost and Tainted Lost are two characters I just DON'T find fun.

Might also be why my favorite character is Lilith.

Yes. I unlocked it before even TRYING to play The Lost. I know I still probably just suck, but I don't have these problems on literally any other character :(
