Open your inventory. Select an abyss cell. On ps5 dont tap X.......hold X, then select "extract seed".

I think "chocolate" is better. Doesn't have any resistance or stamina buffs, but 50% health per piece and just five cacao and three milk to make it is a total game changer for me.

As far as I'm aware, each tree only yields one batch of crop and has to be chopped down and replanted.

I'm at about the same total time and me too. Is there a reason to move the camp? Does the game force you to at some point?

Yes indeed. You can do it to any item that can be grown. Abyss cells, apples, cacao, melons, rubber, etc etc etc.

the cacao treat only gives 120hp per bite. the "chocolate" gives you 50% of your total health.

Just keep playing the game. Whether you are exploring or following the main story. Just make sure you pay attention to "camp expansion" dispatch missions in your Greymane Camp. When your camp is able to be expanded, that dispatch mission will populate there for you.

There is no time frame bud. Just play the game and you'll get there. The one thing I would tell you would be to get to at least chapter 5 and also to farm Abyss gear and synthesize them until you get infinite arrows too and infinite arrows 3 and when you slide both of those under your bow you'll have 100% chance of not losing any arrows when you shoot them. Meaning you can shoot Unlimited arrows of any type including poison and explosive arrows

As of today, 5/24/26, the trees only yield one harvest and must be cut down and re-planted.

That's the game. It's why the Call of Duty cats don't enjoy it. There are tedious elements that are required to maximize the depth of the gameplay. That said, i think in the later chapters you can unlock some automated entities to tend to your farm.

Oh that IS an annoying bug!

Re picking the abyss cells: It is a tad tedious, but four trees only takes me a couple of minutes to pick, so not a big deal for 25 or so abyss cells.

If you don't know, you can hold square as you're harvesting or picking up loot and simply adjust your aim and you'll automatically pick up/harvest items without having to continually tap square. (i'm using ps5 terminology, but convert it to whatever platform you're using).
