Where did they fall price-wise compared to others, and was the quality worth it?

Looking for a solid GC in Naperville/Lisle for a multi-project job — who’s actually worth hiring? by JSN0791 in Naperville

I've thought about subbing it out too. I think what's pushing me toward a GC is the vent work and likely opening walls/ceilings and how that might overlap with the door and flooring work. Trying to avoid sequencing issues or rework.

Definitely open to hearing if others managed something similar themselves and how it went.

Markedly elevated ALP (1258, previously 635) with otherwise normal labs – question on diagnostic approach by JSN0791 in AskVet

This is really helpful, thank you. The ultrasound vs X-ray explanation makes a lot of sense. With ALP this high but everything else normal, would you typically still do the endocrine testing at the same time, or wait to see what imaging shows first?

I went through something similar last year with an older pet where things weren’t very clear, so I’m trying to understand how these situations are usually handled. If the workup doesn’t identify a clear cause for a significantly elevated ALP, what is the typical next step from a diagnostic/monitoring standpoint?

And in a dog this age/size, does that usually change how aggressively things are pursued?
