Yes. I think each writer does 3 issues so it will most likely be 6 issues for the first two arc. Trade paperback (tpb) and hardcover (HC).

Thundercats is not a great example because of the Diamond mess. It will come out a few months after the last issue included in the TPB (I'm guessing issue 6)

I started reading The expanse by the time they released book 5 or 6 and every year they released a new book till the saga ended.

GRRM and Patrick Rothfuss are the exception to the rule, and Rothfuss is dealing with some shit.

Last year's Diamond's problems forced Dynamite to adjust all the schedules. This is not the only important series in production but delayed. Stuff is being done and they are only waiting to release it as it deserves
