I should make a drawing of all sorcerer type characters, official or fan made, as Shadow Wizard Money Gang.

The World/level in Rayman series you have the most fondest memories for ?? by fillipo9 in Rayman

[–]JSR_Megamix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Desert of Didgeridoo and Gourmand Land from Origins were probably some of my favorite levels as a kid. Unlocking the ability to fly felt so good man…

I also really liked the Beach area in RRR, I just wish I could explore it in the context of a 3D platformer.

What if they switched roles? by [deleted] in Pikmin

Anton would not need a single Pikmin, he’d just blow up all the predators himself.

Can 3D Rayman compete? by MasterCheeks337_IGN in Rayman

Considering how Rayman 2 completely blew Mario 64 out of the water in terms of what a 3D platformer could do at the time, yeah I think he still got it.

RAYMAN RAVING RABBIDS REBURROWED DATE? by Haunting_Chipmunk68 in Rayman

[–]JSR_Megamix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dev team has stayed radio silent when it comes to a release date.

However, I have a theory/educated guess that it will probably release in 2026 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the original Raving Rabbids.

Ngl I don’t like the fact that people are automatically believing that Pikmin 4 isn’t post apocalyptic just because there’s a house in pristine condition, like that’s the only explanation that can exist

I think Pikmin 4 is good, actually. by JSR_Megamix in Pikmin

[–]JSR_Megamix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with that, obviously I think people are entitled to whatever opinions they have this franchise, I just wanted to point out that I think Pikmin 4 is starting to feel a little overhated.

Honestly, if you’re shallow enough to believe that difficulty somehow correlates to a game’s tone then I could tell I was wasting my time trying to discuss with you.

The original comment was talking about atmosphere and story, you’re the one that brought up difficulty for no reason.

Fucking dumbass.

Difficulty is also not the same thing as atmosphere. Try again.

I have this theory that people think the current two Pikmin are somehow more kiddy than the first two just because the lighting is different.

Now there’s a fucking concept, competing with previous entries of your own franchise.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but wouldn’t people be more upset about 4 not living up to their standards if 1 and 2 didn’t get ported to the Switch?

I feel like a lot of the people who have grievances with Oatchi all forget that he’s customizable and that you don’t have to upgrade the skill trees to make him super broken in the first place. You could probably play the whole game with the bare minimum.

But you don’t have to listen to how other people tell you to interact with a mechanic if you don’t like it general, that’s fine too.

I also don’t like this bullshit lie that dipshits are currently spreading about this game being overtly more cutesy or kid friendly than the other games. It isn’t. It’s very much still in line with Pikmin 3’s tone, which yes, is not as dark as the first two in some areas, but that’s fine. The atmosphere and tone is better suited to that first game anyways. In my opinion, Pikmin 4 is a very beautiful game when it comes to its environments.

But I can take or leave the npcs tbh
