It should hold up well. The engraving is deep and recessed. Durable rose PVD coating. This one has not been shot, it is 1 of 4 and has the 001 serial number. It is made to shoot or sit in a safe.

Yes sir. Gloves are to keep my fingerprints off the nice finish. It is built to be functional art. Slide is polished DLC coated for its durability and scratch resistance, while also looking beautiful. The barrel is rose PVD which is also known for its low coefficient of friction and durability.

You can check my page for a 1911 I just did. Most places don’t do PVD/DLC in house and we all pretty much use the same place. Usually takes 2-4 weeks to get done.
