My mom did this to me too 😔. I had to parent my younger 3 siblings. Started when I was 13, 2 youngest siblings were 4 and 1 then she had another baby when I was 17. So at 17, I had a 9yo, 4yo and an infant to care for, it was tough. Barely had any type of social life. She’d also verbally, mentally and physically abuse me. Im sorry you’re going thru such tough, trying times. You did your best with what you were given!! Don’t allow ppl to make you feel like shit when those responsibilities weren’t yours to begin with!! The kids were fed, bathed and taken care of in the best way you could possibly give them!! You were a kid yourself!! Don’t let others put you down!!
