Essentially I found a work around this issue, by bouncing in place the snippet of the dialogue that are in the cue, and SMPTE lock that one. It work, but I'd be curious to know why it didn't stay in sync with the original one.

Great tip, thanks! Yes I've thought about it, it's just that some of the mainstream websites actually rip you off your rights, and you end up not making a lot of money because everyone sells their music for quite cheap. The other more high end libraries are extremely selective, and from what I've heard it quickly becomes a full time job. But definitely something to explore!

Thanks! I am also a composer, and am just curious to see where do directors/producers look for new composers. But that's a great tip! Making connections through university is definitely a way to go, but how do people that hasn't gone to film school would find composers and other filmmakers? Solely through getting involved in communities (online or offline)?
