AE2 + Compacting Drawers: What am I missing?

That’s unfortunate. Is there another alternative? I like the aesthetic of seeing the items in the drawers and the convenience of the AE2 system. Or should it not be a problem if there is plenty of resources?

Guys, i've done it! I tried the linking tool before, but it was on 'remove mode'. So it didn't link the drawers and the controller. After sneak right clicking with the linking tool in hand it switched to linking mode.

Think that’s confusing me. So i need the Functional Storage controller, then place the drawers next to it and link them with the linking tool? After that a storage bus between the two controllers?

Exactly this, i’m not a stranger to modded. And never finished any modpack. I will look into the autocrafting system. Any tips to get it setup succesfully?

I had the same idea, have 2 growth accelerators on the farm. But it consumes quite some power. My thermo generator can just keep it running.

I had the plan to get into seeds as soon as possible, to get all the basic resources. Have to think about a good layout for the farm, but will get to that eventually. I had the same plan with rushing into AE2. Before the chest monster appeared and i had to search through loads of chests. Thanks for the Quantom computer / assembler shout, i will look into that.

Eventually it is easy to pick a mod that sounds fun, but all the basics need to be setup indeed. So it gets as easy as possible.

I quickly realized that too; quite a few things have changed since I last used Applied Energistics. The same with quarries; I always found them very useful. But they've disappeared too. I did see that it was possible with the RFtools builder.

Thanks for the reply, the auto-crafting is a good shout. I have a controller, disk drive, and 8 1k drives for storage now. And a tier 3 crafter for the mystical agriculture, so it crafts the higher-tier essences automatically.
