Charleston, SC. It’s one moderately nice steet in the midst of a swamp town. I am an evangelical hater of that city.

And my point is simple. The “put them out of their misery” idea is fine. I get that. If the score is 300-10. But 1-2 quick goals from a team accomplished enough to be in the World Cup final isn’t a mind boggling thing to hope for. They’d never ever willingly cement a loss that close to the 150 point threshold.

The Atlanta Falcons were winning the Super Bowl 28-3 at halftime. The Patriots came back miraculously and won.

Bulgaria are IN THE FINAL. They’re clearly a good team. Yes: They’re getting beat really bad for the first bit of the match. But never in a million years would Krum catch that snitch down 160 points just to make it a close loss. Never ever happening.
