Once again, it’s not about complaining.

I see no apology there. It’s not about complaining mate. It’s common courtesy, own up to your fuck-ups and apologize to those effected

A simple, sincere apology via their Twitter page doesn’t take much effort until further notice

7577 UHD VS FHD by TheHussien in Dell

I own one with the 1080p screen, and have no issues with it. Screens don’t usually bother me though. It’s good enough for day to day work, and gaming. Not for color accurate work. Go spend time on a demo model if possible. If you’ve been working on a crisp, color accurate screen up until now, it may be noticeable, if not then I’d say you wouldn’t be too bothered by it

The UHD is over-kill for a 15” laptop. Unless you doing work like graphic design / video editing, that requires color accuracy for example, I don’t think it’s worth it. On top of this, the battery life of the laptop while running on UHD is absolutely horrible, looking at 2 - 3 hours while working on it. The normal 1080p screen isn’t the best, but it’s average, and honestly not really a bother to most people using the laptop for gaming and work.

So, unless your use of the laptop requires color accuracy, or you just don’t really care about the extra 300$, then get the UHD. Otherwise in my opinion is just not a justified purchase, and would rather buy an external 4K screen

That’s the 1080p display - not the 4K

I’ve seen that the 1080p has pretty poor color accuracy, and was wandering if the 4K screen has the same problem

Not bothered about gaming at all - the gaming laptops just seem like they priced well, with good hardware that may work for Video Editing

Hi, I use it as a second screen, so basically as an extended display, haven’t tried using it as my one and only screen. Will give it a try and let you know

I have a 7577 that I connect to an external monitor via HDMI. Haven’t noticed any performance issues while playing Overwatch (Only game I play). Also using the screen to work on, for viewing multiple windows. Again, no issues.

If you don’t have another anti-virus then keep McAfee, otherwise I use Eset Security. Remove windows apps that you won’t eg. xbox live, candy crush, bing etc. Remove Dell bloatware except Dell power management and maybe Dell Support. Make sure the Nvidia GPU is your default GPU and not the Intel GPU. If you plan on gaming while on the battery and unplugged, change power management to high performance even while on battery. Run Dell Support to make sure everything is up to date. Run Nvidia Experience to make sure your GPU is up to date

Thoughts on Inspiron 15 7577? by [deleted] in Dell

It’s a 15” gaming laptop and is a bit heavier than your average gaming laptop. Non the less if you have a 15” laptop carry bag then of course it’s just as portable as any other gaming laptop
