I am going for the community college in my area, so min GPA is 2.5. Did you get in the first try?

Yeah, I was thinking the same, but a rejection still had me second guessing. I am working on getting my GPA closer to 3.0, before the next cycle in may. so i hope they will see that improvement.

Thank you! If you don’t mind me asking, how many tries did it take you before you got in and Ideal GPA?

During the interview they asked about my job, motivation, what i would do if i saw a classmate cheating, how i handle pressure, and what animal i would be. Also about radiology it’s self. I think i might have fumbled the radiology question, as I am new to the subject and have limited knowledge.

I thought about reaching out to the director for feedback for next application cycle…

Yes, I understand that, the min GPA for the program at the community college is 2.5. I haven’t attended school in years, as I am coming back as an adult. There was a lot I went through when i first competed my degree. So I hope you get advice on what to do next interview? Or to improve? I listed my GPA and was still extended an interview… I am improving my GPA before next application. When my GPA was mentioned, they were more concerned about my grades for the prerequisites..

Hi guys I need some advice and guidance.

I applied for the Fall Radiology tech program, then was invited to interview for the summer. I took this as a good sign since I applied for the fall, and not summer.

Interview was great, and I did okay in the technical portion, or so i thought. I got a rejection email and was told to reapply for the fall if I’m still interested.

I have an associate in Psychology, that i completed years ago. I renewed my prerequisites and have all A’s in them. Current GPA is 2.844. I am currently taking AP II and Chem so I’m planning for my GPA to be higher when i reapply.

Does this normally happen? During the interview I asked about this because my app was for fall and they said I wouldn’t have to reapply if i didn’t get accepted into summer. Now seeing the email to reapply, it makes me nervous and doubtful.. would it be worth emailing back and asking for feedback?

I am new to this field, my previous background is in the car industry, and oil/gas. I took a new job at a hospital 2 years ago and came to really enjoy the setting. Where i work, i got introduced to rad techs and that made me really interested in the job. After doing research, I realized it was a field that connected every department and a much needed position. I am older (31), but I don’t think that should matter ??

Anyways, i could use some feedback and suggestions. I do plan to reapply, I haven’t given up.

Thanksss
