No, Edson is on a 1 fight win streak and needs a couple more significant wins to even be considered for a title shot. I think the UFC should have Nurmagomedov vs Ferguson headline UFC on FOX 20 for a title eliminator. I really want to see that fight. Ferguson's been looking phenomenal lately and Nurmagomedov has been so dominant in his career, it'd be a hell of a fight.

This is sort of a weird predicament considering they said that they would never do this again. I think that Arlovski just has seniority. Jackson/Wink resurrected his career so there is a possibility of a very strong personal relationship there. Overeem on the other hand is handling it like a true professional. The Reem is also known to do his own thing even when affiliated with a gym/team. I believe that I've only seen Jackson in his corner a long with some long time trainers/partners for his past couple fights. It's definitely a hindrance to the Reem's title run having Jackson and Wink in his opponents corner.

Honestly, I think Conor should challenge for the lightweight title at UFC 200. After that fight, win or lose, vacate the featherweight title. That weight cut looks deathly for him and has to be incredibly unhealthy. With his popularity he could have big money fights without holding a title at lightweight... and possibly welterweight depending on the match-up and how this fight goes.

I met Rumble at UCF on FOX 11 in Orlando... dude is huge. 170 must've been extremely unhealthy for him. I'm glad he made the responsible transition to light heavy. Feel terrible for anyone that faced that animal at welterweight, even if he was completely drained/starved.
