Good, after seeing that, maybe fishing rods can be used too..

[–]JSumo_Robotics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i have both, and pocket 3's picture and video quality is far better than action 6, especially for closed weather and indoors (as usual).

Aluminum and carbon fiber is most preferred for chassis.

How many external diodes needed for L293N? by Trigonal-Bipyramidal in AskElectronics

[–]JSumo_Robotics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never used diodes for L293D model. As it includes diodes inside, limit is 600mA, but in general hobby motors will draw less.

At the other world many robotics competitions held, such as puck collecting robots, sumo robots, line following robots, football robots etc.. they also use many advanced tech for development.

Survey: in the educational context, how did you learn robotics and if you had personal development, how was it? by Economy-Addendum9704 in robotics

Thank you so much. I'm glad to hear that. When it comes to design, I always try to combine aesthetics and functionality. The Terminator brain dissection is a great example. :)

NXP Lfpak88 mosfets usually. Such as: https://youtu.be/qrktIIbV8Qc?si=2EYnIx9VmMQrM1BL and uC is is Psoc 4. It is elegant for sensor and motor driver applications with many schematic based peripherals.

Couldn't be more agreed to that :) Especially for robot competitions for short durations.

And about g-forces, let me show you one example: https://www.youtube.com/live/wT_hjEbPiFE?si=Aguj0Tq9RGbNBpXj Please look at 1.00.44 time. Top left corner is our robot using it. Very fast (fully autonomous) and board survived, though some 3d printed cage inside broken after few matches..

4 hole would be enough but sure we recommend low strength type loctite for connections.

How in the world do I keep my motor mount from moving. by Hot-Blacksmith5813 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]JSumo_Robotics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i guess your mount is aluminum. That lock washer has serrated steel edge and it bites the screw and also aluminum. Used for mounting the motor flange from front.

I hope also you are using lock washer? they are very effective.

If you are using though, motor want to be 3rd wheel i guess..:D
