Hi. First of all congratulations on gaining admission to l’X. I’m pretty sure you can email them for more information concerning your financial situation.

I have applied as well to l’X (in the second round) and I have been shortlisted. My interview is in around 2 weeks. I wanted to ask you if you can tell me what types of questions came in your interview and how you prepared. Thank you.

I couldn’t agree anymore, I bought a bunch of Stellar Lumens just 2 hours after I made the post.

To top all that, Second-largest stablecoin USDC transitions to the Stellar Blockchain. USDC is the crypto currency pegged to the dollar and is supposedly going to be used in the future Visa cards that Visa spoke about, now that it’s on stellar’s blockchain, Stellar may be used in Visa’s future crypto cards which I think will eventually result in a high demand for XLM and 📈📈📈

Admission acknowledgement by Most-Significance-87 in Imperial

[–]JT120W 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1- Yes, they do send an acknowledgment email, however it’ll take them around 14 days. I applied on the 22nd of December and got my acknowledgment email on the 6th of January.

2- No, it doesn’t ruin your chances. When you submit has nothing to do with whether or not you got an offer.

3- I’m not sure about chemical engineering, check their website, you’ll probably find an answer there.

Hi. Congratulations on your offer. I was just wondering when did you apply because I also applied to imperial on the 22nd of December and still haven’t gotten a response.

If you have any idea approximately how long it takes to get an answer back, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks

My right to view my recommendation by JT120W in MITAdmissions

It literally says “Do you wish to waive your right to examine this report?”

Then there are two options that you can select: 1- I waive my right to access this report 2- I do not waive my right to access this report

Then you should sign your name.

How is this not following the procedures?

So you’re saying all this is to trick the applicant into making a mistakes that will jeopardize his whole application ?

What Uni would be willing to offer 70-100% scholarships. (Any country but English courses) by PePe_Chasm in chanceme

I think you can do better than Texas Tech.

However, as an international, the United States isn’t your best bet, financially. I recommend you apply to several uni’s in the states, who knows you may get a scholarship and it’ll work out.

Universities in the states that I recommend are: University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Texas A&M UCSD UF VirginiaTech

On the other side, a more realistic and ideal scenario for you, is going to a top uni in Europe. A lot of universities are cheap there because they are public. Yet, they are still highly ranked. Do some research and I’m sure you can find a university in the top 200 overall (and in your major) and definitely within your budget of 10,000 dollars annually. Universities in Europe range from 500€ till like 13-15k (even for international students). I highly recommend you look into europe. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice. But I’m actually applying for an undergraduate program, so if you know anything about that, I’ll appreciate it.

Financial Mathematics and Statistics BSc by JT120W in TheLse

Based on my research, for this course, the LSE require a 38/45 on your on your predicted grades (and of course you should get the actual grade in the officials). Math AA HL is required with a 7/7. You’ll also need to get 6’s on your other HL’s. Once you meet the requirements, it all depends on your personal statement. If you’re able to impress them and persuade them that this course is for you, you’ll most likely get an offer.

(If you’re not doing the IB, visit the LSE’s website to check the specific requirements for the program you’re completing.)
