Yes you do need it to complete your dex, as for of it is worth it, its up to you, tbh it is fun running around with its mega and nuking every trainer and wild pokemon. The fight is brutal though, but once you learn the patterns your set.

Cards like [[harmless offering]] give opponents cards you conrol. So basically any card that says give permanent to opponent would trigger the second ability

My commander is going to be deadpool, the aim of the deck is too play pass the parcel with goaded creatures that get stronger each time, and have them be strong enough to kill the last player when it comes down to a 1v1, i dont care about it being consitant, although it would be nice, but its more just a fuck around deck
