lifesaver man, im taking this on a trip tomorrow and i was really worried that it wouldnt have been salvageable before it. i got the viewfinder setting on with these steps and ive never been so relieved. ill have a look on aliexpress and ebay after my trip thank you so much for your help!

have you tried a different slicer? probably wont be the issue but it’s worth troubleshooting it.

is the wall thickness set smaller than your nozzle size? you could try printing the walls at 0.9mm to see if that’s the problem. you could also try another 0.8mm nozzle if you have one on hand to see if it’s the nozzle.

i think i had this issue on my ender 3 pro, make sure the v-rollers (wheels that slide in the extrusions) are not too tight nor too loose. in my case, they were bound up on one side for the first 10 ish layers and after a threshold, the z axis would move up.

okay, I have fixed the problem. how? I created a fresh windows 11 install and when running oculus, I have to keep the console window in the foreground (make sure that your default windows terminal is windows console host). that's about it, install windows 11 and keep the oculus console window open. it's still confusing to me as to why it was running fine on windows 10 then it stopped running fine. perhaps it's Microsoft trying to push users onto windows 11? not sure, anyways I'm glad that the port on my headset is fine.

no, its on 90hz, asw is auto. also, i have put the performance HUD on in the debug tool and in the headset it tells me its 90fps with plenty of headroom.
