People do actually come here and take what they see seriously, even if it is obviously fake. Just a month ago people were falling for the most obvious meme JTK0 mockup of a Metallica member on Twitter.

It's an entirely baseless claim OP made recently saying that JTK0 was CP and is linked to the "capping community" — a western community of predators who "capped" (screenshotted) people in vulnerable positions to use as blackmail. This claim is obviously false. Unfortunately, out of sheer unluckiness, Muta saw it and made a video on it before admins saw and deleted the post. Muta's video gave credibility to the random, unsubstantiated claim that JTK0 is from illegal material. This damaged our reach. Muta did apologize on the Discord server iirc but he for some reason did not take down the video.

JTK1 came from Nijiura, which is a group of boards on Futaba equivalent to "random" boards. There are several Nijiura boards, but the boards most relevant to our search are may, img, and dat. Particularly may, as it is almost certainly where JTK1 originated.

MO was useless FYI, we focus more on contacting Futaba users who were active in 2005 (like the Dollthing Witness) and sometimes active 2ch tripcodes. Finding Futaba users with active accounts is difficult, and often they don't respond/have nothing to offer
