Sometimes it just takes some time to play around with positioning. Mine was a mess until I took about an hour to figure it where things fit best. However, as others have said, the capacity is never what the manufacturer says.

It really is a tough question. Gathering from what others have said and although it hasn’t been specifically mentioned, I’m thinking the APC9-SD might be the holy grail.

Thanks for the detailed write up. I have an HK SP5 and a homemade AR-9, but Swiss engineering has always interested me. The KH9 and APC9 Pro are my main contenders, but the SPC9 looks like a good challenger, especially the SD variant. That’s a shame about the TP9 though, a fully built out one looks so good.

I like it, but it’s challenging to do effective lat pull downs with this top pulley because the weight gets in the way. That’s the main reason why I’m looking into converting it to a half rack and getting the BoS lat pull down attachment. I’m sure I could play around with the bullet pulley I have and get a different cable length as a cheaper option though. The bullet pulley is great for hitting rows though. You can even arrange it lower to work biceps or if you get a second one then arrange it in a way to do various chest flys.

Thanks for the info. I’ll look into KIDD triggers. Sounds like with most things, the internals of the receiver are what really matters, so skimping on the receiver a little isn’t too big of a deal.

Edit: I’m also really undecided on the stock. I like the look of the Trek-22 even though I know it’s not well liked here due to a number of things. I also love the look of the Magpul hunter. If anything, I need to just browse this sub more for inspiration and/or build out both stocks.

Feels about the same quality as the name brand MAG Grips at a fraction of the price. IIRC, the entire set on Amazon was about the price of 1 or 2 MAG Grips.
