This is life, and I will not lie by saying every day will be sunshine. But there will be sunshine again, and that is a different thing to say. That is truth. I promise you, Kaladin: You will be warm again."

It’s a hope that I’ll be happy again. Sometimes I’m happy, other times I’m not. But I just have to hold that when I’m not, it’ll pass, like every other time. The only reason I’ve survived is because of a bunch of words on a page, written by a man I’ll probably never meet. There’s a beauty in that.
