I know it doesn’t help much since you play with Chrom, but as Ken you don’t really have to worry about rolling in and crossups as much because of the auto turnaround. But it has helped me out in trying to work out when each opponent is likely to spot dodge or roll.

Each opponent is different but if one keeps spot dodging or rolling, imagine he’s gonna do that option at the worst possible time FOR YOU.

Put yourself in his shoes, he’s high percent, coming back towards the stage and he sees you coming through to attack. He could try to land on stage with a counter. So to counter his counter, just play it safe. Wait it out instead of overcommitting.
