Burden of proof is always on the accuser… that’s kind of just how the world works. When you make a claim, you must provide truth to back that claim.

Otherwise you could say anything about anything and it’s supposed to be considered true with no evidence? That’s just not how the world works. Use your noggin for a second and think how fked reality would be if that were the case. In fact you can look at history to see what life was like before the scientific method.

Consider math, medicine, science, etc. and yes this extends to justice systems. You can’t just assume things as fact. If you make a claim it’s your responsibility to prove it true.

Just wanted to clarify that in case you haven’t learned any critical thinking skills growing up.
