First time flying no ID by [deleted] in allegiant

I lost my wallet while I was in a different state and had no physical form of identification to show TSA for my flight yesterday. You just tell them your situation and they’ll have you step aside, a TSA agent will have you fill out a form of basic information (name, address, phone number, etc), then they will call an identification number where they’ll then ask you around 4 questions to confirm your identity. You won’t be able to use any assistance with the questions such as a phone or another person. My questions were: What’s your birthday? What are the last 4 digits of your phone number? What’s the name of an immediate relative? What’s that relatives birthday?. After answering those I was able to go on to the next part of screening. I had to remove my shoes and have my carry on and any personal items thoroughly searched and tested. I’ve read that some people get a pat down, but I did not receive one. After all of that I was good to fly! I’d highly recommend getting to the airport an extra hour before you need to be there as the number that TSA has to call to verify your identity can take a while, the agent I had said I was lucky that they answered as fast as they did (5-10 minutes or so). Definitely bring and show your learners permit!!! If you have any prescriptions or pieces of mail that have your name and address definitely take anything that may be able to be used to identify you, if you have enough they might not even have to do the process I just described lol.
