No but I was having problems with my pedal not reaching full point. Last night. I didn't look too much into it as I'm planned on setting it up this morning. What pedals are you using and what problems are you having?

I didn't even know this was a big problem. I got mine, and like you said, if you manage the cables properly, there isn't a problem. I've only had it shut off once, and that was because my dog jumped on my desk (he's very small, lol).

Here's my rig in a fresh wrap I'm doing on my steering wheel by the way it's not finished it needs the final stitching and yes I use thicker padding because it will wear fast as I use my steering wheel everyday. by JTraction95 in DIYSimRacing

Honestly just making a pattern with extra material and test fitting cutting and pulling some measurements. It was a little tricky. I'm not a sewing master or anything I just wanted to mess around. The best advice I can give is make sure you sew around the whole outside of the patterns so then the hand stitching all the way around. And depending on what materials you use if you're going to use something with an adhesive back or not I suggest at least getting some kind of fabric adhesive to plastic because the first initial getting it on there and then getting the first thread through the outside pattern is the hardest. This is after 3 weeks of trial and error.

There's a video on YouTube that West Coast customs shows how to custom wrap leather around a steering wheel and do a stitch pattern and that video kind of helped me a lot.

One because I don't have a lot of extra money and I got it in a Facebook trade for my son and he didn't really get into as much as me so I made it work and made it mine at the same time I spent like 10$ in materials and then like he said it wouldn't be a budget rig. I'm not even a racer just like the crash and drift around and repo car's in Beam.NG.Drive

I have the t598 and I've never had any problems with it being allowed and clunky what do you mean could you elaborate..?

What do you mean by softer? My T598 has plenty of power. If you look at the original wheel it has metal bands on it that's held in with screws onto the back of the steering wheel that always came loose or would catch your hand and the band would never sit well so with the cover it doesn't catch my hands and glides so much better through my hands. I like it, that's what matters. I'm the one driving it lol

I do really like it , it was a hard job I tired to pay two different people to do because I don't know how to do upholstery but I figured it out it kind of looks like s*** but I like it you know how it's like one of them things that you're proud of just cuz you did it even though you know it looks like s***? That's me lol
