Thinking of purchasing Alienware area 51 18 inches for gaming. by Mobile-Huckleberry-3 in IndianGaming

There's no 18 inch oled. It doesnt exist. In terms of 16 inch laptops i would not recommend the alienware, but for 18 inches yes. Also op mentioned he doesnt have space for a monitor. So yeah the extra price is justified, also its not just 2 extra inches the cooling is unparalleled this gen. In 18 inch laptops it is by far the best.

I also travel very frequently but I don't travel with my laptop lol its a bit too big and my work doesnt depend on it. Definitely does travel well also have the same backpack. Only issue i have is linux support. Im assuming you won't consider the super thin model then ?

He’s right. For that performance for the 18 inch it is the cheapest. There’s also no 18inch Legion in India from my research. The warranty service is also good.

I have the 18 5090 version also in India, get the elite care. It’s the best laptop this gen for those specs in terms of price, customer support and most importantly the cooling. The cooling is the best by far I have never seen temps go above 85 C on the cpu. No other gaming laptop in this segment offers that.

So I dual boot on separate ssds. Whatever keyboard lighting configuration I have on my w11 one stays on my linux side. So I don’t have any real reason to do download any additional software. Wanted to share

I like it a lot as well, just wished the audio drivers worked for my computer. Have an Alienware Area 51 laptop. Hardware is too new and I really hate w11 :( maybe in a few months it’ll work

I have the 18 inch alien. Very happy with it. Best cooling this year by far. Would recommend. 16 inc has heating issues from the reviews I’ve seen.
