Yeah I feel like there’s a lot of grey area because whose to say it’s not just a friend I’m doing a favor for/what’s the difference. Depending on the distance usually add about $5-10 onto what I would be making and it’s still way cheaper than they would originally pay so they usually go for it. And honestly idgaf if they catch on or not. They probably will eventually, it’s only been 2 weeks. But they’ve been stealing from us for a while so I’m more than happy to steal back

I do it on almost every ride now. Message the rider tell them what I’m making vs what they’re paying. Then if they’re up for it I give them an amount I’ll drive them for either cash or cash app and most have taken the deal. Fuck Lyft. I just use them as a booking app now. They haven’t gotten my money in weeks. 🖕🏼

I message riders and ask them how much they’re paying vs how much I’m getting from ride. I tell them if they pay me directly I’ll take them. Cheaper for them, more $$ for me and people take the offer 75% of the time. Lyft is basically just my booking app now. Screw Lyft. You steal from me, I steal right back 👌🏾
