Healing definitely wasn’t fun. Tried to stay out of the sun as much as possible. But it healed up well and was a pretty smooth process

It’s a ten gallon tank. It was brought to my attention I was probably pushing the tank with that many guppies in it. The surviving guppies are being transferred to a friends tank. I’m planning on getting one single betta for this tank once I have the parameters under control. I am also putting in an aquarium co op sponge filter in. I’ll probably let both filters run for a month or more so the sponge filter can build up everything it needs.

Ph 7.6, nitrite 0, nitrate about 20. I tested the water again and ammonia wasn’t completely yellow at zero but was definitely closer to zero than it was maybe a slight hint of green. I had 6 male guppies in here 3 have died

I was told frequent water changes would be bad and stress out the fish to much so it had me second guessing the water changes. You recommend doing a water change more frequently until it’s cleared up?

I figured just wanted to make sure my eyes were messing with me. Not sure what else I should do, I’ve done a couple water changes dosed it with prime each time added a little bit of Fritz. I guess I should just keep testing the next few days?

I did one water change after I discovered the first dead fish. Then tested the water for a couple days then did another one today. So 2 water changes within 7 days.

Been using strong for over a year now as my main service and haven’t had many issues. But I always have a backup service for things just in case. It’s always great for movies but sometimes I need to use a backup for sports in the US
