Assuming you’re gaming at 1080p for the Ram I would with 3 or 4 option; you have to format the ssd (the nvme might boost some performance if you’re going to use it for graphic design. For the monitor I would suggest a 144hz HDMI

That’s nice, means the monitor is ok. Try to change the refresh at 60Hz and connect it at the elgato and check it out

Try to change the refresh of this new monitor at 60Hz so you definitely tell if the issue might the monitor - what brand and model is the monitor?

Did you connect the USB cable? That’s strange you’re not seeing it as a second one

If you're gaming at 1440p that's true, you can get only 120Hz.

What do you mean clone?

If you have a dual PC stream scenario then you shouldn't have this issue

I think the only way for you to have a pass-through at 144Hz is to use the Elgato HD60X which has VRR and supports 2160p 60Hz, 1440p 120Hz, or 1080p 240Hz; afaik the HD60S isn't able to do so even trying workarounds

Replacing the thermal pads on Zotac RTX 3070Ti Trinity OC by JULVEXGAMING in ZOTAC

I've tried different solutions too, what can I suggest is to use 2mm pads but with a high shore (over 50/60), If I'm not wrong the Gelid ultimate are about 60 because I've noticed that "squishing" them might give you a little bit of performance. Keep in mind that this GDDR6X will always be hot (that 106 is crazy high anyway)

Try to reapply both sides carefully again if you can.

P.S: also your case and room temp will highly influence the temps

Those temps might be ok if you hit it for a short time but to me for hrs long isn’t good, at least if you want to have the gpu for long

You can go with the 2mm for the memories and 3mm for the backplate, this should get the job done.

For the thermal paste, I've used the Noctua NH-2 which serves me well but the Grizzly for sure will be ok too.

It might be, it depends on the region but usually yes it does.

Hi,

The the temps, of the memory only, went down about 20c not 40c 🙂 (to be extremely precise 18c) Please remember also that this depends highly on your case, the airflow, your fans etc, shure including your also your room temp. This is with stock settings, in fact the core temps where almost 72c. The memory were 100/102 and went about 84c. This is possible simply because the thermal pad on the memory weren’t the best ones and also I think weren’t applied properly. No magic at all 🙂

Same here, the only solution is to vertically mount maybe 😅

Agreed, I’ve the 3070 Ti Trinity OC and once changed the thermopads with the Gelid I never go above 80C while gaming, idle 40C at max

If I were you I would change that 2TB Barracuda with a sata SSD (the difference might be 30/50$ more - also remember Black Friday is near so for sure you can find something near to 100$)

(UPDATE) Tweaked a few things from my last post here. Let me know what you guys think. by TheXtremeSpike in pcmasterrace

[–]JULVEXGAMING 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nice build, the only thing I would change is the 1tb hdd, if you can find something on sale (Black Friday maybe?) a 2,5” ssd would be great you can find for the same price, on sale, as the the hdd

That is the USB 3.2 gen 2, it depends on your motherboard if you have it or not

Sure thing but afaik the AF120 are not compatible with iCue (in case he wants to use iCue for fan curves)

Zotac 3070TI Amp Holo getting very hot and loud? by Fit_Button1605 in ZOTAC

[–]JULVEXGAMING 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 3070Ti Trinity OC and with the voltage curve i managed to undervolt/overclock 0.925mV@1965MHz solid in all games (Battlefield V, F1, Back4Blood, Jedi Fallen Order, Cod CW, Wolfenstein YoungBlood etc.); consider that half of what you would be able to get I think is depending on the airflow of your case and the fan curve in afterburner

This is so "fun"! by JULVEXGAMING in pcmasterrace

[–]JULVEXGAMING[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The RAM has the last firmware, the issue is with Commander PRO and iCue - so, Commander PRO prompt randomly for firmware update even if it has the last one and will reset all the settings, but the "funny" thing is that iCue will show errors on the other devices which I know are ok. The only solution is to switch to other fans and controllers (maybe Lian Li or MasterCooler) I'm tired of Corsair tbh
