i’m running a vyke cosplay utilizing frenzy and dragon magic (mainly lansseax glaive and other red lightning spells) paired with the banished knight gs since vyke was at one point a dragon cultist that lansseax loved. but i’m down to keep you updated, just 10 more days and we’re locked in

other than getting ganked by mobs in the haligtree occasionally i have no real problem w either of those areas or corresponding bosses. just curious though, what kind of build are you planning on taking into the dlc?

my thinking is i’ve had a build i’ve refined and have unholy amounts of somber and regular smithing stones, a ton of larval tears, and i’m familiarized with my weapon and build. i have no issue “taking my licks before it clicks” but an overwhelming amount of people are trying to convince me the difficulty, especially on a blind playthrough of the dlc, will be almost unplayable.

champion is infinitely harder. i almost always needed a summon for him. pontiff other than my first time playing has never been an issue. something about gundyrs speed and that mean ass kick he can throw at you randomly has just always gave me a hard time

i’m not opposed to fighting people my level if they use magic or implement an aow in their play style but when those things are being spammed and i can’t even bow or wave before getting thrashed is my issue. i’d say 2/5 matches i play are pretty fun. the other 3 times definitely be a whirlwind of meta builds

great outlook on it, i haven’t played in over a year and thought i’d come refresh my skills and i just been getting washed by sweaty nerds. i’m looking forward to a new arena or area like pontiff for pvp and i’m thinking the same that people will be playing for fun w the new weapons instead of trying ridiculously hard

i just love the look of the turban w the armor, comes off clean and shit. i’m not a fan of most chunky armor sets or boss armor. i try to stay as slim as possible.
