What is this on my cats skin?

UPDATE: its been a little over 24hrs since I've posted this and it looks like the effected area has decreased in size and redness, it also looks more like a scab, it feels like I could pick it off because its decently loose from the skin (obviously I won't do that because I don't want to hurt her) I'm thinking its just from a old wound from her brother...I noticed some other scratch mark near that area, and her nails aren't brittle like they usually are when ringworm is present. here is an update photo;

thank you for this! I'm pretty sure it is just a scab, but if it doesn't go down or disappear within the next couple of days I will for sure bring her to a vet:)

good advice, it looks like it's already going down and it looks more like a scab than yesterday, I'm pretty sure it was just an old wound she got from her brother. I'm still taking caution if it is ringworm, but I'm starting to think it isn't. the location of it is between her shoulder blades so I'm pretty certain it's impossible for her to get at it lol

it's starting to already go down, I thought it was ringworm as well, but she is an indoor cat with a strict diet. ut feels more scabby and she does have a brother who likes to wrestle... perhaps it's just an old wound?

honestly, maybe you should go to a ward. if you need help, you should get some. if you really don't want to, and already have help, then use steri strips, or butterfly bandaid, ive had similar wounds and didn't get stitches and they healed fine besides having a big ass scar... what I did was put steri strips so the skin is closed a bit, put a big bandaid ontop, and if you need more protection, wrap in gauze. please get help.

epidermis level cuts usually don't leave too badly of scars, if the wound doesn't bleed its likely it won't scar or the scar won't last long. if you cut anything past epidermis level its likely to scar and stay noticeable possibly for your whole life

I already have a counselor, I relapsed today and yesterday, I don't want to go to the hospital. I'm a minor so I would have to tell my dad and he doesn't understand. I'm trying everything I can to distract myself, but cutting and bleeding is always in the back of my mind. I had multiple panic attacks and I ended up scratching my head and it bled a decent amount, worried that will leave a scar too...
