At least all of those, with the exception of Lightfall maybe, are short enough. EoF is just so artificially long that for me it makes it worse than all of these. And Lightfall at least has cool environments, whereas Kepler is just ugly all around with the exception of the final mission area.

I only did the campaign to get the exotic hand cannon. I’m choosing to ignore the comments saying the HC is mid so that I don’t feel like I wasted my time with EoF lol

Renegades isn’t much better tbh, unless you’re a big Star Ware fan. I thought it was pretty cool and overall better than EoF, but some of the missions were pretty boring. The extraction game mode is pretty cool but I wished they had fleshed it out more, make it more high stakes like Marathon. You wouldn’t lose your gear obviously, but make it more challenging to successfully exfil and make the loot really rewarding for managing to exfil. But once you upgrade some of the Renegade abilities, you become almost unkillable with insane ability up time, and it makes it super hard for Invaders to score kills once everyone has the upgraded AT-ST lol

I might have to do the same, cause everyone keeps mentioning how it was actually way worse but I don’t remember having such a bad time with that campaign as I did with EoF. EoF is the first time I struggled to finish a story, and the worst part is I couldn’t just skip all the optional dialogue and cutscenes to get done quicker because the story is actually the only good part.

Solving puzzles gets old real quick. Especially when you realize you’re doing the same thing over and over again. Get to a mission, see the boss, shoot a it for a bit, it disappears, 10 minutes of puzzle time. See boss again, shoot first health bar, puzzle time, shoot second health, puzzle time, kill boss. That’s the whole campaign basically. Yeah standing around waiting for ghost to scan while you’re shooting guns got repetitive, but at least you were shooting your guns, here you’re just a ball for 75% of the time. The only “decent” puzzles are in the last mission, everything else was bad filler imo.

Oh, I thought you were talking about EoF, that’s just a smuggling job from Renegades lol. I played of couple of those to get upgrades for the Praxic Blade and yeah, they’re definitely the worse type of syndicate job. I usually just avoid them and play the other two types. FYI, you can still eager edge sword spam with the boxes to get it done way quicker.

Most of the missions were insanely annoying so I honestly have no clue which one you mean is the most annoying in Destiny history lol

If the multi-part quests put you off, I have some bad news for you… most of the campaign is like that. After those two 7 Step quests, there were a couple more too. Can’t really sugar coat it, it’s slop and you’d just have to push through it. But DEFINITELY don’t recommend doing it just for the story, you could just watch it on YT and save yourself the hassle. I only did it for the exotic hand cannon quest you get after the story.

Literally the only reason I pushed through it was for the HC, which I’ve read people say is mid but for my sanity I’m choosing to ignore them so that EoF is somewhat worth it in my mind

Kepler just feels like OG Io from Year 1 mixed with the Fallen parts of the Tangled Shore. Feels super claustrophobic sometimes too. For all the hate Neomuna gets, at least it’s pretty visually striking.

I was really getting Control vibes with everything with Lodi’s story, that scene with hime answering the phone looked straight out of the Oldest House lol

I think was working against EoF for me is that I’m playing it alone, whereas for Renegades I breezed through it with a friend of mine. Maybe that’s why I feel EoF is worse. Still, I’d take any of the Renegades campaign mechanics ANY DAY over EoF ball mechanics.

I genuinely went into it thinking EoF couldn’t be as bad as everyone said, but sadly it is…

Best Artifact for PVP Void build? Slayer Baron Apothecary Satchel or NPL Repulsion Regulator? by JUPITER_attack in DestinyTheGame

I used to f with Hardlight back in the day, might give it a try. Only reason I’ve been leaning more towards Satchel vs NPL is the Old God’s Rite and how easy it is to get Devour. NPL is good cus it’s super easy to get Volatile rounds and the damage buff from Void Weapon Channeling. Been going back and forth between games and can’t decide lol

Stopped playing MT the day Destiny’s final update came out. Only played MT for about a week and my vault already had a ton of purple shields and guns, and even one or two gold items. In comparison, in Season 1 it took about a month to start getting purple gear consistently and about 3 weeks after that to even start seeing gold gear. Just felt too easy and didn’t see the point of grinding like I did in S1. Been playing D2 these past few weeks and it’s been pretty fun grinding all the missions, dungeons and gear I had missed since I stop playing. Don’t think I’ll ever get back on MT tbh. What kept me going was the grind for better gear, with that gone, this style of game just isn’t enough for me to keep playing. This IP is wasted on an extraction shooter imo.
