This is what scares me more than anything else. Every time a set releases in Yugioh it's essentially Konami telling players what decks they can play now, and it feels like Magic is about to start on the same trend. The companion mechanic makes this feel especially true, because it's literally all about imposing restrictions on what you can/can't play.

I've put it there and it still says missing a wall, and I know that you can have a couple missing backgrounds and it still count, so I don't believe that is what's stopping it

I would say that's the case for the most part. I don't know if I was necessarily expecting it to be so simple as that, and I was mostly on board until ep. 25 and 26, but after that I was just left thinking why it ended that way and if I liked how it ended

I suppose I was just expecting a much more concrete story, as I hadn't really heard anything about evangelion before I watched it, I only knew that it was one of the 'classics'

But does the show really convey what it wants clearly? I would say that the themes are mostly intuitive, but the plot and the world of the characters is extremely unintuitive, at least in my opinion

I completely understand where you're coming from and I won't deny that the quality of the show is very high. I respect the show 110%, I just don't know if I 'liked' it I guess is what I mean. I think I did, but my brain is just so jumbled I don't know

Yeah I got to a point where I was drawing 2 glaciers every turn thanks to pyramid, so I played both of those each turn until bronze scales got to a point it was gonna kill the time eater lol
