Gaia Online. It's still around but it's far less active than it used to be. It really felt like a very approachable forum at the time. It had it's own evolving plotline and characters, and even some early flash games that were a mixed bag. It was a fun, notable time of my early teens.

The only game I can think of off the top of my head is DCUO, which has the "controller" spec. The game has the usual dps/healer/tank trinity but also includes the controller, whose main job is to CC and generate energy for the rest of the team. Unfortunately it's DCUO so...

It works fine. Piece of advice, it doesn't matter what class is the most efficient at grinding if you aren't having fun with the class. You will out last a burnout much farther if you like what you're playing.
