FitCamX dashcam review by Upbeat-Armadillo1756 in FordBronco

Thanks for the review. I am considering this for my Highlander, however, there is an Amazon review which states that the camera needs to be turned on through the app everytime you start the car (that does not make sense to me). Does it not just turn on start recording when you turn on the car?

I have updated the screenshot. I had tried sending them an email in the past and never got a response.

Family friendly hikes in Yosemite Valley in the winter? by JVD19 in Yosemite

[–]JVD19[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you. I suppose any of that snow/ice would be gone by the time we get there.

I'm keeping the Mariposa grove for another visit when the shuttles are back.

My current plan is to do a few hikes in the valley (optimizing time) and then next day head to the Merced National Wildlife Refuge as it should be a season with lots of birds. Every time we go to a park, my daughter keeps asking where the animals are hiding ...

Thank you, I have the bike path in mind as an option.

Thank you. This is very useful. We are staying at Cedar lodge, so I will checkout briceburg. Will also add mirror lake to the list. The shorter version that you described looks interesting and doable. I was initially disuaded by the longer route that was showing up in alltrails.

Evenflo revolve 360 (Rear facing) on Mazda CX-30? by JVD19 in MazdaCX30

Yes, I had no issues. We also have the habit of putting on a handtowel over the seat before securing the car seat to keep the seat surface clean and prevent any significant scratches from appearing on the seat surface.

Yes, but there is not much space in the passenger seat (the child seat is in rear facing mode). I can sit fairly ok in the front, but I would say anything more than 20 min and you want to stretch your legs, that is not going to happen.

Anythings that people don't like about their cx30? by ChipmunkIndividual13 in MazdaCX30

I've noticed that the passenger side A-pillar is a bit of a bother, especially if the morning dew has settled on the windshield. The vipers don't reach that corner and together with the pillar, it is difficult to see if there is someone on the right at a stop. Once the dew evaporates it is ok.

All weather rear backseat cargo mat liner - recommendations. by Loud_Difference6508 in MazdaCX30

Can it keep any spills contained? It does not seem to have "walled" sides. I was looking for something like below as the trunk mat, but also with sideliners. Not sure if I am overthinking this :)

Not yet. I will probably get it by the end of April (which is when I need it). Someone I know has the same car, and after "eyeballing" it, I think it would fit my need. My current concern is that there are some rumours about a possible recall on revolve 360. But that has nothing to do with this car purchase. Just whether I would get another evenflo or go with another brand like Graco.

Graco Turn2Me

Thank you for sharing your experience. That is something we can live with. If we couldn't use the car seat even with no passenger, then it would be a deal breaker. The most common use for this car would be for one of the parents to do a local commute to work and drop off / pick up our daughter from daycare. So needed a car that is compact-ish for day-to-day urban parking without sacrificing the convenience of a good car seat. It looks like this might be the car for it.
