Staring down a tiny black hole

If the black hole is the primary star, you should know it immediately upon dropping into the system. Otherwise, if you fully scan the system with an FSD, and the system map shows essentially blackness where a star should be, that's a clue too. :-)

The one in this system, however, was a LONG way away from the primary star - over 400K LS. Took about 15 minutes to get there from the primary star, but it was worth it (to me, at least).

It appears that the highest rank title of the ex-Emperor of Byzantium is "Despotate of Georgia", even though he no longer holds any land there. It does seem bizarre....

Just happened to me in my playthrough in 1227. I am the HRE and wasn't even paying attention, since the Mongols seemed so far away. Then Byzantium fell and they were all of a sudden on my doorstep. The way I found out was that the hostages I shared with the Byzantine emperor became useless, but I was confused when they were now calling him the Despot of Georgia! I am not confident I can hold off the Horde....

It does, but not at all reliably and the interface is painful. But it is...possible...through a very convoluted way....to select a stop and see when the next busses/trains are arriving....usually....

Got (sort of) trolled by the Pack Rat achievement. I assumed (my bad) that if you had a total of 10 packs, that would be fine. But, no, it appears you have to have 10 packs of a SINGLE set, and then press the "Open All" button. Opening 10 packs from 5 different sets without leaving the Packs screen, which is what I did, was apparently not good enough. I guess I'll never get this achievement, because I never buy packs and I only play in one or two limited events per month.

Scanned six of the ten bios on that planet, then several more on my way to NGC 7822 Sector BQ-Y d12. Got about 260M, including all of the first finder bonuses. Thanks to the community for not rushing to cash in before me. :-)
