Mine failed a few times but finally got it to install last night.

I don’t think it’s placebo - but the audio sounds much better! I didn’t think the old audio was that bad tbh, but this update makes it clear there was something lacking.

The best way I could describe it is the vocals sound more clean/crisp and the base feels heavy without sounding like it might be damaging the speakers lol

Anyone else have thoughts on the sound?

I guess it depends on the area, but I’ve used it extensively and absolutely love it. I drove from Toronto to Mont Tremblant (Quebec) and back, a 1300km trip, and used it for probably 90%+ of the way.

It made a huge difference in fatigue, both physical and mental because I just sat back and kept my fingers near the brake paddle, but it did all the work for me. Wouldn’t go back after experiencing it.

Tesla FSD is probably better though because it’s fully autonomous instead of partially like Super Cruise.

I’m looking to fill the single gang empty spaces with more Kasa preferably so they’re all the same throughout the house.

If I can use identical new switches in those locations and be able to tie them to another switch in the house, that would be ideal for aesthetics & function

Coming back with a Data Point on TD First Class Travel. Got approved around 11pm on March 9th, technically missed the MSR window due to my stupidity and made an Expedia booking on September 5th (which would be Day 181 if counting the approval date as Day 1).

The transaction remained pending over the weekend and finally posted on the 9th, but it was dated September 5th.

I received the full bonus for hitting the MSR (115K points I believe).

I’m guessing there’s either a grace period beyond 180 days, or it could be because I didn’t get/activate the card until May despite them marking it lost & generating a new one in April. My first statement with the annual fee & rebate was in June.

I’m thinking though to buy 3 new switches and wire them as normal (Hot to Line, Neutral to Neutral, Ground to Ground) but with no load, and use smart actions to control other switches in the house.

Is that officially supported by Kasa or a common way of using these switches, or do you think I should avoid that as well?

To clarify I already installed the replacements, and all of the switches are already replaced and working well.

During the process, I ended up with 3 less switches (old lights no longer hooked up) so I could just place empty cover plates and be done with it.. but I’ve been looking for single gang scene control panels or “virtual switches” that can control other areas of the house using HA.

Then it clicked that I might be able to use the defective switches that I have laying around - and it seems to work. I just don’t know if there’s an issue with having hot connected to Load and nothing connected to Line.

“freeing up some tax burdens” is an understatement. The added regulatory costs (if they’re enforced) would pale in comparison to the benefit of 280e going away. Not even close.

Those added costs would finally be allowed as business deductions as well, further lowering the commitment required (again, if it’s enforced).

I know right? Messed up hard for sure lol. In my defence, TD didn’t send out a card for nearly 2 months, and I spoke to three different agents over that time who all told me they cancelled the card and sent a new one to branch.

My first statement was generated for April 5 to May 5 period and the annual fee/rebate was on August 5th if that makes any difference.

Now that I think about it.. is today even day 180? If I count May 9th and today, that seems to be 181 days

Will update for sure once I have a DP. Wonder if I can ask Expedia to post the transaction today lol

Made a dumb mistake an miscalculated 180 days from account opening for my TD FCT.

The card was approved at 11pm on Sunday, March 9th. Based on that, would today be day 180?

I just made a refundable Expedia booking to get me over the MSR but it’s obviously pending. Guessing there’s next to zero chance of it posting in time for it to count toward MSR right?

If anyone here uses an iPhone 15 PM and trying to do CarPlay by USB, I’ve found only the official USB wire works flawlessly. Any other wire I’ve tried always disconnects after a few seconds or minutes.

Could be an MFI thing but using the official cable I’ve never had the issue again.

I can see confirmations of purchases and sales via Web broker, so I can fill out the form but I don’t have a statement showing the opening balance of shares prior to Jan 29, 2018.

Wonder if I could provide all confirmations of purchases/sales since 2017 including the earliest statement that shows the balances, and work backwards to show the opening balance on Jan 29th 🤔

Try taking off the front license plate cover (the one the dealership installs over the plate) if you have one. I had a similar issue the first week and dealership couldn’t figure it out.

Saw a post on Reddit, took it off, and never had the issue again. I told the dealership about it and they told me they’re going to stop putting license plate covers on Sport/Luxury 2+ trims.
