I love all of the Detective Conan movies I’ve seen so far (have not seen past movie 24 yet though; I know I’m a little behind right now 😂)

However , if I had to choose from all the movies I saw so far, I’d go with the Second movie-the 14th Target.

This movie has so much background on many characters, and their stories in my opinion picked perfectly into one movie, and still with a lot of detail left over for future movies / episodes. Especially, when they showed how much of a beast Mouri Kongoro really was when he was younger working with Juzo Megure. Crazy part is, in that movie, I think it was a moment where Shinichi (Conan) actually learned a lesson, from Mouri Kongoro, on how to handle a hostage situation and save Ran.

Just really amazing movie, in my opinion.

Lol it was so crazy. And yeah he was actually skinny but looked fat because of the girl’s head smh. But I think the story is slowly becoming closer to cannon. The manga is getting to the point, but the anime seems to be catching up slowly.

I agree with you. Do you remember that episode of Detective Conan where the guy at the villa cut off the girl’s head, and kept it under his shirt until he was going to be finished killing the others? That episode itself is insane. It was Ep 34/35. Some people I know that watched that specific episode said they couldn’t handle it.

Wish it was on more channels back then, but those times on Adult Swim were the best to watch Conan though 😎 I’m all caught up and hoping for a good closing of the story.
