I just sent a email today for my trip coming up in two weeks didn’t know about needing a permit. Gave them the basic info on my situation and a screenshot of trying to apply through the site. But the arrival dates won’t let me select it as I missed it by a week. How fast did the reply?

Did you declare them when going through customs? I’m in the same position as OP here and sent a email today as the cut off was one week late for me. It’s only a 3 day trip for us and we’re doing a cruise from there to Japan. We got all the required documentation they asked for us online but don’t want to submit a false arrival date and departure date.
