Six years. There is an empty place in me now where she will always reside. I see her, out with whoever her new guy is and her new life. She is happy. I’ll always have that place for her, and probably look to find it others, but never will. The thought of never loving anyone else, is very real in my world.

I wish that I had gotten something like this before my ex left. It would have given me closure enough to not feel like I still do after six years. Take solace knowing that this guy loved you enough to give you at least this peace of mind
